From August 2026, Jackson’s Tool Sharpening Service is no longer available.
We are not accepting tools for sharpening, either online or through our shops. If you have used the service before, please do not send tools to our Hove shop or any other Jackson’s location.
For many years, this specialist service was offered through our Hove shop, formerly Lawrence, helping artists restore and maintain well-used lino and other cutting tools. We know that many of our customers have valued the service, and we’re sorry that we are no longer able to offer it.
We don’t currently know if or when the service will return. Should it become available again in the future, we’ll update our website and share the news through our email newsletter.
